Dairy

We milk 40 registered Holsteins and Jerseys cows in a tie stall barn. We use rotational grazing with our dairy herd so our girls can enjoy fresh green pasture daily along with sunshine and plenty of water. Pasture season usually starts in April and usually runs until November, we supplement with hay and baleage as needed. We worked with Herkimer Soil and water to establish a rotational grazing plan and implemented in 2013. Our girls love it, its good for the land as well as providing them with fresh nutrient filled grasses to enjoy throughout the grazing season. This also helps with our soils and regenerative ag.
